What is Reverse-Osmosis ? It has been deemed as the most efficient way to purify and filter water for drinking and cooking. It does not require daily cleaning like distillers, and a good Reverse- osmosis will remove all your chloramines and remove substances as small as an atom.

No other filter system can do this on a daily basis with virtually no
maintenance.
Here we discuss only point of use Reverse Osmosis for drinking water only. A whole home R/O should never be used on a well unless you have salt water in your report. A whole home full size R/O will cost you a boat load of money to keep up it will also ruin plumbing due to the alkaline properties. Also conditioned water feels much smoother than R/O water when washing. For 99% of the wells the WELLGURU is the answer for whole house water treatment(see WELLGURU page) with a compact R/O such as the one we are going to discuss here for drinking and cooking purposes.
Water Distillers will not remove chloramines and other elements of similar weight.
R/O 's when properly built filter water one drop at a time and store the highly purified product water in a storage container so when you use it first thing in the morning the very first drop is the same as the last. A good system will dispense about 2 gallons before it has to be left alone for about an hour. It will regenerate as soon as you turn off the dedicated faucet, (included.)
If you drink from a inline filter one should let it run for 20 minutes before you use it for drinking, no one does this in the morning. No inline filter reduces T.D.S no matter what one pays for it, except for a couple of table top brands and in my opinion one should stay away from those for many reasons that I won't address here.
One should never use this type of filtration by it self when drawing un-treated water
(well-water) bacteria will multiply if not neutralized before hand. The WellGuru once in place as your whole home conditioning system is your best choice for pre-treatment before adding a drinking water system for point of use.
A Reverse Osmosis comes with a dedicated faucet installed next to your kitchen sink valve, in a texture and color to match. It can also be hooked up to your automatic ice maker for purified crystal clear great tasting cubes. This is done by simply adding a "T" just under the R/O faucet and running it to the ice maker, it's that simple. I custom build R/O's of the highest quality and if you live up north with a basement it can be installed there or just under your kitchen sink, it takes up about 1/6 of the typical space It's compact in design and can last many decades, if not a lifetime since the material i construct the system with is top shelf parts. For about a hundred or two more you can have a system that will be free of service calls and frequent filter elements changes.
A great R/O will pay for it self in just a year or two and continue to return your investment for ever as opposed to a warehouse depot model or a department store brand will stop working within it's first year and will still set you back $250 to $700 dollars!
All Reverse Osmosis systems consist of a four stage filter pack and a storage container with a poly type bladder to isolate drinking water from the storage tank.
When I build my tank with s/s they use pot metal,
When I use a good tank valve that cost extra and is made to shut off for ever they use one that can and does crack on the threads and is not washer less,
When I use a Dow 3 rd stage membrane special ordered for problem water and is a TFC (thin film composite)99.8% effective on TDS, they use a cheapie made in China and a CTA (cellulose triacetate) 85% over all rejection,
When I use a special order solid brass faucet they use plastic every time! not only that they use an air gap valve that makes a lot of noise while processing and is a nightmare to install!
When I use Matrix brand as my first and second stages capable of 3500 gallons of treatment they use G.E type that have a 600 gallon capacity and if you are on chloramines from your municipality you can cut that in half !
When I have painstakingly engineered my system to manage water at a one to one ratio they use a three to one unit and in more cases than not do not have a built in automatic shutoff which can waste 2o to 30 gallons a day down the drain! all R/O's eject the bad non drinkable part of the water down the drain via a saddle fitting connected to the sink drain and if your R/O does not have auto shutoff technology it is outdated by design!
My list can go on and on, it is easy to see that I'm concerned about your quality of water and not about profit margins! After all if your not impressed with the quality of your investment than when it comes time for you and your family will not refer my service to anyone.
Why add a reverse osmosis to your water softener or well water package? Even with the best water softener or well water treatment system, it is possible for trace contaminants to be in water. The only way to truly purify is to filter water one drop at a time. This is basically how it works and why all these systems come with a storage vessel. It can even dispense about 2 gallons of water with your home water shut down. What can't be completely eliminated by a good water conditioner you can be sure the water you drink and cook with will be of the highest quality.
What is the maintenance? I suggest the pre and post filter elements be switched out annually. I will send you a post card to remind you to call me for service. The usual charge is about $70.00 and we also give the rest of your system a thorough test and make any necessary adjustments.
Where should I buy one of these units from? From us of course! I have been involved with this technology since 1981. I have without a doubt the best system on the market today, built with the finest fitting's and housings 0-rings,valves, elements. I build mine to last a lifetime and I will stand behind it with a limited lifetime warranty. When others use plastic - I use brass. When they use nylon - I use stainless-steel. You will only need to buy ours once. It pays to use quality -components. I remove warehouse and department store and membership units daily. These don't last much longer than their one year basic warranty.
A Common Q@A
Why should I purchase a 4 stage Reverse Osmosis and not a five stage ?
A FIVE STAGE COST MORE TO CHANGE FILTERS AND DOES NOT MAKE BETTER WATER, IT IS FOR VERY LARGE VOLUME USAGE SUCH AS 10 PERSONS AND UP SO YOU CAN DOUBLE THE WATER BETWEEN FILTER CHANGES , BUT NEVER THE TIME AS BACTERIA CAN GROW IF NOT SERVICED AT LEAST BI-ANNUALLY .
I HAVE FOUND THE 4 STAGE SYSTEM TO BE THE BEST WAY TO GO.
The "Aquatic 50" Compact in design, complete with professional installation, it will become the center of your kitchen.
WHEN INCLUDED IN YOUR MAIL ORDER SYSTEM SUCH AS THE WELLGURU WELLWATER PACKAGE THE AQUATIC FIFTY IS COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED AND COMES WITH QUICK CONNECT FITTINGS FOR A VERY EASY INSTALLATION BY THE HOME OWNER, INSTALLING IT IS A SNAP WHEN I DO ALL THE WORK BEFORE IT GETS TO YOU! I CAN EVEN INCLUDE FIVE YEARS OF PRE-FILTER ELEMENTS THAT ARE VERY EASY TO CHANGE OUT SINCE I INCLUDE A SPECIAL PLASTIC HOUSING WRENCH.
AFTER I TEST YOUR WATER YOUR REVERSE OSMOSIS IS CUSTOM BUILT FOR YOUR WATER NEEDS AND A CHOICE OF FAUCET IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR ORDER.
GOOD WATER IS MADE ONE DROP AT A TIME THERE IS NO SHORT CUTTING SAFE WATER! I ONLY DEAL WITH R/O'S THERE IS NO INLINE FILTER THAT CAN COMPARE TO THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WELLGURU.
